Modern tales
Fairy tales usually end happily. In any case, they should. But what would you do if the happy ending you were waitng for wasn't what you wanted it to be?
Imagine yourself as a Cinderella, waiting, while charming Prince tries to put the slipper on the foot of the ugly stepsister. Now imagine her ecstatic grin as her foot fits effortlessly in the shoe — it is perfect! How would you react to this unpleasant surprise? Describe in detail how you would feel and what you would do about it.
The key to the test
In the fairy tale, the glass slipper is a thing that Cinderella considers her own and only her own. When you imagined yourself in her shoes, you took over all her feelings. The way you reacted to the unexpected ending demonstrates how you would react to an opponent in love who would try to steal your partner from you. We all like to think that our partners are completely ours, but there are many ways to put this into action. What would you do to get back what's rightfully yours?
"I'd make the Prince let me try the Shoe on, too."
You are not afraid that your partner can look for his bride for a little while, before he agrees with the fact that for him you are unique and unrepeatable. It's amazing self-confidence, but what will you do if the Prince decides there's a whole Kingdom of legs he hasn't tried on a shoe yet?
"I would take that as a failure and move on."
Patience is a sign of wisdom, but sometimes you have to fight to hold on to what is yours.
"I would grab a glass slipper and smash it on my ugly sister's head."
You may feel relieved, of course, to Express your natural resentment, but the Prince is unlikely to have a high opinion of his future bride, arranging a brawl.
