YouTube меняет правила игры

Сегодня пришла интересная новость с проекта YOUTube, хотя ее никак нельзя назвать неожиданной, которая каснется каждого - не только блогеров, но и обычных пользователей.

YouTube запретил возможность зарабатывания блогеров копированием информации.

Что такое «неавторский контент» по правилам организаторов:

• Взятый из других источников без существенных авторских изменений и комментариев;

• тот, который на YouTube загрузил другой блогер;

• не проверенный инструментами защиты авторских прав или нарушающий их;

• автосгенерированный контент. Да есть и такое.

У владельцев оштрафованных каналов есть 30 дней, чтобы удалить или обновить дублированный контент. 

Будет ли простым пользователям также удобно искать необходимую информацию?

И не приведет ли это к снижению популярности самой программы и роста сторонних площадок?

Мозаичное чтение

Я хочу попробовать этот вид работы при подготовке к чтению и говорению. Его рекомендовали несколько известных сторонников гуманистического обучения языку. По мере того как студенты приходят в класс, на их столах уже приготовлены для каждого статьи, которые нужно прочитать, это либо случайные статьи? либо подобранные для каждого ученика или урока. Школьники читают в отведенное время, а затем объясняют, что они читают другим и дают свои комментарии и описывают чувство. Вы можете выбрать эти статьи, чтобы связать их с остальной частью урака, который вы запланировали, или вы можете импровизировать урок, основанный на том, что происходит от чтения и обсуждения.

In this word game activity, a word must be transformed step by step into a target word. To illustrate the idea, write the word run on the board and explain that the target word is fit. For each turn, only one letter can be changed. See if the class can find a valid sequence together. Some possible sequence are:

head ---- ---- ---- ---- foot

gives lives likes lakes takes

Students may need access to a dictionary in order to check if their words are valid. If you want to find possible word pairs, there is a site with a  handy word ladder generator.

Variations:
Put students in pairs and have them create their own word ladders to test their classmates with.
